Alex's mural commission for new Christchurch restaurant Story on New Regent Street was a full of joy!
In fact the joy-factor was high even though the temperature was not during the week of painting.
The mural was made to create a visual interest through a window at the back of the restaurant that looks onto an alley way. The resturant is small and intimate and had limited wall space so painting a mural was the perfect way to add another dimension to the small and well formed space.
Alex used her eye to make organic shapes in interesting colours in a play on a story of food and dining.
